Just watched 9 & 10 they were worse then bad – they were boring. I can’t even really think of anything in 9 to comment on, the dialogue was painful and unbelievable. I actually started getting so bored I started fast forwarding it a little. What happened in that episode? I don’t even know and at this point don’t really care.
Episode 10 was a little bit better, but not by much. I started fast forwarding through a couple of the heartfelt conversations between the professer, docter and his dip shit sons. What I found sort of funny is the rediculousness of how they treat little Ricky. He is apparently going full traitor, telling the aliens all about the resistance plans. He even knocks a guy out and tries to sabotage some of the defenses in preperation for the coming attack (which he helped bring about). Once he is recaptured what is his punishment for that … nothing! He says he is sorry and he gets put back into general population even though he was like crawling up a wall like a fly earlier.
Then finally it got to the end which looked like it was going to be a big fight scene or some type of action. There was the fight at the school and one mech and like two faceless extras got killed. Then they didn’t even show Weaver and his people get destroyed. Next thing you know, Pope, Weaver, and the black cop(who doesn’t die, which is a miracle) are just sitting around in a bunch of ruins. Then professor comes and takes an rpg which is tipped in mech metal and shoots it way the hell up into the air and takes out a alien plane. I’m not the biggest military buff but I kind of thought rpg were used against tanks that are close, not planes. But whatever, then the blonde girl comes back and she has a harness on so she is like the mouth piece of a tall willow alien guy. Then professor goes with the alien on his ship, like a dumb ass, because some how he is going to save his son.
Well can’t wait for Walking Dead and Breaking Bad to be back on again after watching this piece of crap.

i watched the first 4 episodes of this crap and then gave up and just read your reviews which i imagine are a lot more interesting.
You should keep on commenting on Speilberg’s other 2011 family blockbuster “Terra Nova” which at least after 3 eps seems a lot better that FS. Interesting how La Speilberg seems to see them as 2 parts of a late life set “FS is not a program about Aliens its a program about Family”, “Terra Nova is not a program about dinosaurs its a program about Family”. We get it. You made ET and the one with the shark in it which wasnt a movie about killer sharks but about families that get torn apart by sharks. The problem is one of the reasons many of us watch escapist tv with aliens and dinosaurs is to get the f*** away from our families so we dont want to see a better looking, more interactive version f our loser one when we do. The only worthwhile families on tv are the ones that are even more dysfunctional than our own aka The Simpsons.
